Audit RI

Our client, a UK-wide Accountancy Practice backed by private equity with a turnover exceeding £20m, is seeking a dynamic leader for their team . The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, with leadership experience at a senior level. Strong expertise in accounts and audit is essential, along with the ability to provide exceptional support to both clients and team members. This role offers good flexibility and will work remotely but with occasssional visits to Milton Keynes and London.

• Act as RI for statutory audits, ensuring compliance and high-quality delivery.
• Lead and review audits across a £2m portfolio.
• Work closely with the Milton Keynes manager on workflow and client management.
• Mentor and coordinate UK and offshore audit teams.
• Support process improvements and contribute to practice growth.

• ACA / ACCA qualified and approved to act as an RI.
• Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS, ISA).
• Proven experience managing audit teams and complex engagements.
• Confident working with remote and offshore teams.
• Experience of supporting an off-shore team would be beneficial
