Our Story
Two decades of connecting businesses with exceptional finance talent
MATTER Talent was originally founded as MatureAccountants.com in 2005 with a simple idea: UK SMEs deserved access to experienced finance professionals who could genuinely make a difference to their businesses.
From the beginning the firm was built differently to most recruitment agencies. It was run by individuals with finance and consulting backgrounds who understood the roles they were recruiting for and the challenges faced by growing businesses.
Over the past two decades we have supported more than 2,000 organisations across the UK, helping founders, CEOs and boards hire finance leaders ranging from Financial Controllers through to CFOs.
During that time we have built one of the UK's most established networks of senior finance professionals, with relationships across more than 30,000 finance leaders.
